WELCOME TO LOVE A CAT CHARITY

KITTENS GALORE!
It's springtime and that means LOTS of kittens!
We currently have 3 litters available for new homes.

Aida & kittens
AIDA is the mother of 4 beautiful babies.  She is an experienced older female who is afraid of people. Aida had recently found our airport colony, so we trapped her in order to fix her and noticed she was very pregnant. We brought her to Love A Cat so that she could have her babies in a safe place where she can live with no fleas and lots of food and water. She has been an exceptionally good mom who adores her babies but doesn’t understand why they trust the humans.
Morocco is the brains of the litter, always leading the others to explore. Like every good Marine, he believes in "Move, move, move!"
Botswana is a mild & sweet boy, who is always ready for a snuggle.  He spends a lot of time watching his litter mates.
Somalia is a slightly confused male kitten who is an exceptionally beautiful Russian Blue.  He loves being held.
Ethiopia is part Abyssinian and is already a rascal!  He has a very strong personality letting everyone know what he wants.

Nubia & kittens
NUBIA is a young and beautiful kitty who also recently found our airport colony. Unfortunately, when we trapped her to fix her, she was already pregnant so she came home with us to have her 6 babies in a place where they can be loved and adopted out. Nubia has learned to let us pet her and shows signs of becoming quite friendly.
Malawi is an exceptionally beautiful calico with wide set eyes. She always looks as though she's laughing. Cameroon is part Russian Blue and promises to be a beautiful little sweetheart. He already seems to know he’s cute. Nairobi is an energetic copy of her beautiful black and white mom with the exact same white collar going around her neck.
Mozambique is a tiny black boy who spends a lot of time just watching what’s happening in the kitten room. Zimbabwe has beautiful wide set eyes and a sweet personality. Togo’s love of eating has made him into a fat tummy with tiny legs attached.

Cleopatra & kittens
CLEOPATRA is a friendly calico, who is about 10 months old.  She loves to be scratched and talks to her human friends with a bird-like trill. She showed up frightened and pregnant in the airport colony, probably dropped off there by owners who did not want the responsibility of a pregnant cat.   Cleo is the mother of 5 gorgeous kittens.
Tiny Anita is a beautiful part Siamese girl who loves to have her pudgy belly rubbed. Her dark nose and ears give her a sort of pixy look. Maria is a black and white (Sylvester and Tweetie) kitten. She loves her momma and never likes to be far away from her. Graziella is a gentle little grey tabby who could become some human’s best friend. What a sweetie!
Tony is a very handsome grey tabby with tiny white “gloves and vest”. He is adventurous and promises to get his litter mates into lots of trouble. Pepe is a handsome light grey kitten who is as mild tempered as a cat can be. He’ll love to decorate someone’s lap for them.

READY FOR NEW HOMES!
Bucky & Donivee were just 5 days old when they were found abandoned.  Kittens that young are taught by their mothers never to move until her return.  So when they crawled out and started shouting to humans that they were hungry, it was clear that their mama had been gone for awhile and that they were desperate.

Bucky

While Donivee has found her forever home, Bucky is waiting patiently for his.  Having been bottle fed and hand-held, he is exceptionally responsive to human voices and human touch. Bucky has bold, striking tabby markings and LOVES to nap up on your neck so he can feel your heart beat and smell you.

Truffles

Twix

Truffles & Twix
Truffles and Twix, 2 females from the same litter, were found in a school airvent.

Truffles is an extremely healthy chocolate/black tabby who loves to play with humans and fall asleep in their laps.

Twix, also a chocolate/black tabby, was the runt of the litter and is usually the last kitten to catch what's going on. She is, however, one of the dearest kittens. When she's picked up, she relaxes and lays her little head on your arm. She'll stay in that sweet position just watching the world for long periods of time.

Alfie
Alfie was found on the sidewalk of another school where he was unable to move, due to starvation. (Unfortunately, this particular school traps and removes the mother cats, leaving the kittens to starve, when it would be much better to Trap, Neuter and Release the adult cats at the same location to cut down on kittens humanely AND keep down the rodent population.)

Alfie
A teacher called and asked us to help with Alfie. After a few days of special care and lots of food, Alfie is learning that he has no more worries and he's getting to know Twix and Truffles.

DO YOU.....
want a cat that's just past the "kitten" stage but still very young - a "sleep with you, read with you" love?  If so, one of these sweet cats may be for you!  Although a few are sponsored through virtual adoptions, these 1-2 year olds would love nothing more than a real home all to themselves!

URGENT!
The City of County of Honolulu has banned the feeding and therefore spaying / neutering feral cats in city parks.

They don't seem to realize that if Feral Caretakers stop our work, the number of ferals will increase dramatically, as no one will be fixing them or adopting them out.
