READY FOR NEW HOMES!
Carlisle & Bella were found by one of our colony feeders curled up behind a water heater near her home. She's been working on trapping their mother in order to spay her. These kittens follow people everywhere and welcome a chance to sit by you while you read or watch tv. When they are pet, they close their eyes and push their sweet little heads into your hand. |

Mork & Mindy were two or three weeks old when they were found stuck to the glue in some rat traps. With the tiny babies still inside, the person took the rat traps to a vet to have them removed. But the glue was so strong that their usual solutions didn't work. Olive oil finally did the trick. Despite their rough beginnings, these kittens are very playful. Mindy loves to dive into pillow cases and hide, waiting to leap on any cat or human that might walk past or lie down. Mork is so attracted to people that he has to have his loves before he can eat, play or sleep. |

Harper & Sookie are sisters who, as kittens, were hungry enough to walk up to humans to find food. A kind woman on her way home spotted three 9-10 week old kittens. She put some cat food into the carrier that she carried in her car. She left it out and the babies went inside, but when she lifted the carrier, the bottom fell off! She managed to catch two of the kittens, but the third one went running off, never to return. So Harper & Sookie were brought to Love A Cat Charity. Sookie turned out to be very friendly and loves to be petted. Harper has remained frightened by any fast movements or loud noises. |

Cavin, Chanel & Dior
This "Designer Litter" was found as babies with no mama cat around. It's likely that they were found because their mom went out, got into some sort of accident or trouble and never returned. They were very hungry by the time they were brought to the Charity. Calvin and Chanel have medium length fur and Dior's fur, while shorter, is very soft.
Calvin is a typical longer haired male in that he believes everyone wants to admire him and he can stop and lay down wherever he pleases, even if you are walking right behind him.
Chanel loves to sit on the counter and watch you wash the dishes. She loves being talked to, but doesn't like being picked up.
Dior loves to sit with you on the couch and be slowly petted. She is very sweet and feminine. |

| These three kittens were found separately but around the same time. They turned out to be surrogate littermates for each other, providing the necessary comfort and opportunities for snuggling and tussling. |
| Mudge was found by one of our virtual adopters in her backyard. He was very skinny, his fur needed attention and he had such a defeated attitude. He was given LOTS of TLC and has adjusted well. Mudge loves to be with and held by humans. |

| Foxy cried at a cat lover's door until it opened. Once she was inside, she followed the woman around endlessly. However, the woman already had 3 cats of her own, so called Love A Cat Charity to see if we could help. When Foxy arrived, she had a contagious stomach ailment, so she was kept isolated for a few days. Once she was healthy, she fit right in. This dreamy looking kitten is very small but not afraid to walk among tall dog and human legs. |
 |
| Torpedo and his sister were just a few weeks old when they were found hurrying across a four lane highway. A brave man stopped traffic to rescue them. Torpedo's sister was adopted, but Torpedo is still a happy, energetic kitten. He loves to race around and even does backward flips. |

DO YOU.....
want a cat that's just past the "kitten" stage but still very young - a "sleep with you, read with you" love? If so, one of these sweet cats may be for you! All were hand raised here at Love A Cat Charity and are very accepting of people. Although a few are sponsored through virtual adoptions, these 1-2 year olds would love nothing more than a real home all to themselves!

DQ, short Dairy Queen, and Julius were found on someone's lanai while they were cleaning. It's unknown how long they were living there, but they had no problem fitting in at Love a Cat Charity. They were very friendly and playful. Although their sibling Soda Pop found a forever home, DQ and Julis still wait for theirs.
DQ is a true female sweetie. |
|
Julius, short for "Orange Julius" is a very playful male who loves to chase feet. |
| These 4 siblings were 5 months
old when they were trapped on the Punahou campus. They
were brought to Love A Cat Charity to be raised and to
wait for new homes. Although they were born to a feral
mama, they do well with people if given time. |
Poi Boy was
the largest of the kittens. He has a white tip on
his tail, which he proudly holds high as he walks.
|
|
Lau
Lau was also a large kitten. He is very confident
and alert |
|
The tiniest kitten of the litter, Haupia is very
sweet and healthy female.
|
|
Poke is a smaller kitten, but is very healthy and alert. |
